About Us
Joseph Messam, owner of "New Era Tennis Academy" has over a decade of experience coaching young tennis players & adults.
Coach Joe started playing tennis in 2011. He joined the Peterson School of Tennis for group lessons & worked with private Coach Nicholas Hudson. His hard work & dedication paid off. He became No. 1 in the Men's Singles category in Clayton Co. Thereafter the team earned back-to-back regional championships in 2011 & 2012 and went to state, under Coach Kenny Peoples at Lovejoy High School.
After graduating, High School Coach Joe attended Tuskegee University on a Tennis Scholarship. Where he studied Computer Science & continued to grow his tennis skills by working under Coach Ernest Grant.
