Joseph Messam II
Joseph Messam, owner of "New Era Tennis Academy" has over a decade of experience coaching young tennis players & adults.
Coach Joe started playing tennis in 2011. He joined the Peterson School of Tennis for group lessons & worked with private Coach Nicholas Hudson. His hard work & dedication paid off. He became No. 1 Men's Singles player in Clayton County. Thereafter the team earned back-to-back regional championships in 2011 & 2012 and went to state, under Coach Kenny Peoples at Lovejoy High School.
After graduating, High School Coach Joe attended Tuskegee University on a Tennis Scholarship. Where he studied Computer Science & continued to grow his tennis skills by working under Coach Ernest Grant.
After graduating Coach Joe went on to earn his Master's in Information Technology specializing in Information Systems and became a certified Tennis Coach through the USTA.
Tennis opened many doors for Coach Joe. This fuels his passion for helping young athletes reach their goals and seeing doors open for them as well.
